Jack White – President

Back in 1989 Jack purchased the company, formally known as Johnson Oil, and changed the name to Alpha Transport in 1990.  Jack is a graduate of the University of Utah, class of 67’ majoring in Business Management and Accounting.  Before purchasing Alpha Jack worked for Kenworth Sales Co. Salt Lake City Utah, Fife Construction Ogden Utah, and Advanced Paving Ogden Utah.  He is the former President of the Utah Trucking Association and is currently serving on the board of directors.  He is married to Linda and has five children and eleven grandchildren.  Jack is currently working on getting his pilot’s license and enjoys playing golf.

Adam Lindsay – Vice President

Adam was hired in 1995 as a driver.  In 1997 Adam moved into dispatch and became Terminal Manager in 1998.  Adam is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, class of 02’ majoring in Business Administration and Management.  Before coming to Alpha Adam worked for Pepsi, Co. Salt Lake City Utah as a salesman.   Adam is currently married to Julie and has three children.  Adam spends his extra time coaching youth and High School sports.

Eric Nielson – Controller

Eric began working for Team Alpha in 2009.  He is a graduate of Brigham Young University, class of 01’ majoring in Accounting.  Before coming to work for Alpha he was Assistant Controller for Walker Oil Pleasant Grove Utah and Controller for Alpine Homes Draper Utah.  Eric is married to Kimber and has two boys and two girls.  He enjoys the outdoors and just finished his second triathlon in June 2010.

Chris Faulkner – Alpha Express Manager

Hired in August 2011 as Alpha Express Manager, Chris is the newest member of our team. Chris a graduate of Weber State University class of '84, where he majored in Psychology. He began his trucking career in 1989 and had worked at James H. Clark & Son, Inc. before coming to Alpha. Chris is married to his beautiful wife, Leslie and they have 8 wonderful children. He is an avid sports nut and loves the outdoors.

Charlie Roundtree – Truck Shop Manager

Charlie joined our team in 2001.  Having been in the repair business for more than 25 years he has worked for several repair facilities including Mountain States Trailer North Salt Lake City Utah and Rocky Mountain Tank Salt Lake City Utah.  Charlie is married to Mary and has four children and five grandchildren.  His two sons are currently serving in the US Military one in South Korea and the other in Iraq.  Charlie spends his extra time with his grandkids and playing golf.

Allan Kapp – Lead Dispatcher

Allan was hire in 1997 as a driver for Alpha. In 2006 Allan promoted to dispatcher and was made lead dispatcher in 2007. With his father being a truck driver Allan grew up in the trucking business and has been driving trucks since 1995. Allan is married to Brandi and has one child. Allan is a member and supporter of Duck's Unlimited Northern Utah Chapter and spends his extra time hunting geese.

Kent Fife – Driver Trainer/Safety Supervisor

In 2006 Kent was hire as a driver for Alpha.  In 2010 he was promoted to Driver Trainer/Safety Supervisor.  He has worked in the trucking industry since 1995 for such companies as Frito Lay Salt Lake City Utah, Construction Trucking Salt Lake City Utah and International Paper/Xpedex Salt Lake City Utah.  Kent is married to Shersten and has three children.  He spends his extra time coaching little league football and fishing.
